The HV25 air cap is an HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) or “compliant atomizing” style cap intended to combine good transfer efficiency with strong atomization.
It is designed for higher solids clearcoats, as well as solvent- and waterborne basecoats.
Among the DeVilbiss GTi Pro Lite (or Pro Lite series) air caps, HV25 is positioned between TE20 and HV30 in terms of flow and performance.
The “larger, straighter-sided fan pattern” produced by the HV25 helps with overlap and gloss in clearcoat applications.
