Motip Metallic Paint – 400ml

• Fast-drying acrylic paint for treated and untreated surfaces including wood, metal, aluminium, stone and various types of plastic. It offers excellent adhesion and is resistant to scratches and the weather.
• For best results, first apply a base layer of MOTIP White Primer.

Usage Instructions: Before use, carefully read the directions on the packaging and act accordingly.

• Pre Treatment: The surface should be clean, dry and free of grease. Remove loose old lacquer and rust and sand the surface. In order to achieve the best metallic effect, apply a layer of white MOTIP primer. When treating surfaces of plastic, first apply a layer of plastic primer before applying the MOTIP white primer. After drying, sand the base layer (grain 600).
• Treatment: The surface should be clean, dry and free of grease. The aerosol should have room temperature. Best processing temperature 10 to 25°C.
• Before use, shake the aerosol for 2 minutes and spray a sample. Distance to the surface to be treated approximately 25 to 30 centimetre.
• Apply the lacquer in several thin layers. Before applying the next layer, again shake the aerosol.
• After use, clean the valve (turn aerosol upside down and press the nozzle for approximately 5 seconds).
• The drying time depends on the ambient temperature, the humidity of the air and the thickness of the lacquer applied.
• Recommendation: The metallic effect is increased by using a first layer of MOTIP Wheel Spray Silver and by applying a finishing layer of MOTIP acrylic clear varnish.
